This series reimagines some of art history’s most recognizable visual languages through the contemporary language of the emoji. From fractured Cubist faces and melting Surrealist clocks to Pop Art soup cans and Impressionist water lilies, each piece distills an artist’s visual legacy into a playful digital icon.
The works are not intended as reproductions, but as homages—small visual conversations between art history and the way we communicate today. By translating familiar artistic motifs into emoji form, the series asks what happens when masterpieces associated with museums, canvases and cultural memory are compressed into the tiny symbols of everyday digital life.
